Recollections:
The only student group to hold meetings in the old squash courts. I'm not sure how to describe Zombie Art Collective, does someone else want to try?
Steph, founder/Zombie/etc. says:
"The ZOMBIE ART COLLECTIVE is about resurrection.
We’re brewing up a refined mixture of creativity, spontaneity, madness, wild abandon, and injecting it into the COMMUNITY we mistake for Wesleyan.
We are awakening the dead.
We too are ZOMBIES. We are conditioned by our environment, by society and culture and structure.
We are strange in behavior and appearance.
We control nothing at all. Yet, we act.
For most, art is a LUXURY. It is EXCLUSIVE, it is SHELTERED, it is EXPENSIVE and it is THEORETICAL. Here at ZAC, we believe in cheap art & collaborative laughter
We believe that everyone can and should make art, that we can be drenched in it.
