Recollections:
Thursday nights in WestCo there were usually lots of party people wandering around, and a bunch of them wandered down into this concert. When they heard the Moody Wallen Band, I think they were scared and confused.
I remember someone outside the cafe during the Moody Wallen set talking on the phone to a friend, yelling, "It's sooooooo bad."
ReplyDeleteThis may have been the most memorable show of all of Wesleyan for me. The lead singer (ranter?) has stuck in my mind for years. He was SO CRAZY. I thought he might be about to attack the audience, or maybe that he was about to be beamed up by aliens. Such an intense and crazycrazy performance. I was genuinely scared of that dude. To this day, Adam and I talk about this show at least once a month.
